sulogin command: single user login
sulogin command Function Description
Single user login is possible with the sulogin command and the shell will not read the /etc/profile or $HOME/.profile file at boot time.
sulogin command Syntax
sulogin [Option]
Option Meaning: The meanings of each option in the command are shown below:
Option | Description |
---|---|
-p | Single-user shell calls a dash as the first character in the argument |
-t | The program will only wait for the user to enter the specified number of seconds |
sulogin command Example
Perform a single-user login.
[root@deepinout~]#sulogin
Give root password for maintenance (or type Control-D to continue):
