Tkinter Widget Common Method
When designing widget, you will see the following common methods in common –
Configuration
(1) config(option=value)
: Widget property can be set at creation time, or reset at program execution time using config( ).
(2) cget("option")
: Get the option parameter value.
(3) keys()
: You can use this method to get all the parameters of this Widget.
Event Processing
(1) mainloop()
: Let the program continue executing, while going into waiting and handling window events.
(2) quit()
: The Python Shell window ends, but the created window continues to execute.
(3) update()
: Update the window screen.
Event callbacks
(1) bind(event,callback)
: event binding.
(2) unbind(event)
: unbind.
Alarm handlers
after(time,callback)
: Call the callback( ) method after the specified time interval.
