Tkinter place width/height parameter
Sometimes, when designing a window application, the space reserved is limited. If you want to insert a picture into the window, but you are worried that the picture is too big, you can set the size of the picture while inserting it, using the width/height parameters, which directly set the entity size of the widget control.
Example#1
Set the position and size of the image control directly within the window.
from tkinter import *
root = Tk()
root.title("apidemos.com")
root.geometry("800x400")
night = PhotoImage(file="apidemos-2.png")
lab1 = Label(root,image=night)
lab1.place(x=20,y=30,width=200,height=200)
snow = PhotoImage(file="apidemos.png")
lab2 = Label(root,image=snow)
lab2.place(x=50,y=250,width=200,height=200)
root.mainloop()
Output:
