Tkinter PanedWindow Tutorial
PanedWindow, which can be translated as panel, is a widget container control within which any number of child controls can be created. But usually two or three child controls are created inside this control, and the controls are arranged horizontally or vertically.
The syntax of the PanedWindow constructor is as follows.
PanedWindow(master, options, ...)
The first parameter of the PanedWindow( ) method is the parent object, indicating which parent object it will be built inside. The following are other commonly used options parameters within the PanedWindow( ) method.
(1) bg or background
: the background color of the scrollbar or directional box if there is one when the mouse cursor is not on this control.
(2) bd
: the width when 3D is displayed, the default is 2.
(3) borderwidth
: the width of the borderline, the default is 2.
(4) cursor
: the shape of the mouse cursor when it is over the label.
(5) handlepad
: the width of the panel display, the default is 8.
(6) handlesize
: the display size of the panel, the default is 8.
(7) height
: no default height.
(8) orient
: panel configuration direction is HORIZONTAL by default.
(9) relief
: the default is RELIEF=FLAT, which can control the text box.
(10) sashcursor
: separator cursor, no default value.
(11) sashrelief
: panel separator frame, the default is RAISED.
(12) showhandle
: slider property, can set whether to show or not, no default value.
(13) width
: the overall width of the panel, no default value.
