Python os.mkfifo() Method
os.mkfifo() Overview
The os.mkfifo() method is used to create a pipeline of command paths and set the permission mode. The default mode is 0666 (octal).
os.mkfifo() Syntax
The mkfifo() method syntax format is as follows.
os.mkfifo(path[, mode])
os.mkfifo() Parameters
- path – the directory to be created
- mode – the numeric mode of permissions to be set for the directory
os.mkfifo() Return Value
This method has no return value.
